About hustle to hitch
My name is Abby. I’m a planner, a maker, and a lover of DIY. That’s why when I got engaged, I knew I’d want to coordinate and make almost everything for the wedding myself.
But, like all of us, I’m CRAZY busy.
I stressed about finding the time, energy, and ideas I need to plan the non-traditional wedding of my dreams without turning into a complete bridezilla. I bought books, I researched blogs, but the best thing that worked for me was forging my own path and developing my own wedding plan.
With a background in project and operations management, I have worked with quite a few planning tools and have found a few that work fantastically for planning a wedding. When I was younger, I wanted to be a wedding planner, so I poured over magazines and guides regularly, but I never really questioned the classic choices and traditional decisions until it was my turn to walk down the aisle.
I started Hustle to Hitch to provide a unique guide to help you plan the wedding that YOU want—not what tradition (or your mom, or your partner's aunt's hairstylist) says you should want.
Your wedding will be as big or as small as you want it to be, but it is undeniably an important day in your life. This site and all of its resources are meant to give you busy ladies and dudes the tools you need to plan the unique wedding you want without getting overwhelmed.
